In November, the Talent Management Team launched the recruitment, onboarding, and position description (PD) modules of the Page Up Talent Management Portal. With these additions, the portal’s tools now span your entire Lehigh career journey.
As we shared in The Spot in September, the Talent Management Portal is your one-stop resource for:
- Reviewing and editing position descriptions
- Continuing to grow in your current role through performance management
- Signing up for career enrichment (CE@L) programs through the learning library
- Advancing your career through new job opportunities
- Running effective searches and onboarding new staff
The Careers page (photo, right) includes all staff position listings as well as links to faculty and research opportunities. While Lehigh remains in a staff hiring freeze, there continue to be some opportunities. Although position re-evaluations also remain on hold, staff can now easily access their position descriptions to review and discuss with their supervisor. In the current circumstances, it is important that supervisors only make changes to PDs after obtaining the approval of senior leadership and an exception to the hiring freeze.
The Talent Management team has produced a short video to provide you with an overview of the Page Up Talent Management portal and some of its most commonly used features.
