We’ve discussed stress in Spotlight in the past, both the myths and the facts. While some stress can be motivating and positive, it’s important to keep the negative effects in check.

Is stress an issue in your life?  Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH), Lehigh’s Employee Assistance Program provider, now offers a web-based set of tools to help you maintain a healthy stress level at work and at home.

My Stress Tools is a full suite of materials available to all Lehigh faculty and staff.  It can be accessed at work or home. It’s easy to get to the site:

  • Go to the IBH website
  • Select the Work-Life Resources link at the bottom of the page
  • Use the Lehigh login: Lehigh and password: univ03 to enter the Work-Life Resources site.
  • After logging into the IBH Work-Life Resources page, select the My Stress Tools from the upper right corner.

The Stress Profiler is a great place to start. Complete the 100 question quiz covering ten different topics before diving into the other resources. Your results will help you better understand your strengths and weaknesses in managing stress. From there, you can take advantage of tools that best fit your profile.

The Video Catalog includes hours of material broken into convenient chunks so you can fit them into your work day or free time.  There are also webinars, podcasts, articles, and more.

We Want To Hear From You

Next month, we’ll take a look at the free financial and legal tools available on the IBH website.
