Over the past year, staff in Finance and Administration, LTS, the Bursar’s Office, Student Affairs and elsewhere have been working on a project to provide an even better campus experience for Lehigh students, faculty and staff. Much of the effort has been focused on transforming the traditional Lehigh ID card into the Lehigh Pass - the new way to get things done at Lehigh.
Over the course of the next year the university will roll out updated technology to the Lehigh community to make it more convenient to perform a wide variety of tasks on campus. Several steps have already been taken toward this goal.
Transact eAccounts - Working Behind the Scenes
Lehigh has joined thousands of other universities and colleges in implementing Transact eAccounts to manage campus credentials, point of sale kiosks, and more.
Transact eAccounts is now the system working behind the scenes to connect your identity, student and employee meal plans, and more to your Lehigh Pass (ID card). Be sure to download the eAccounts app by following the directions at this link to see your own account.
eAccounts also enables a new system that makes taking and uploading your photo for your Lehigh Pass (ID Card) a seamless from your phone or computer. First year students and new employees are now using the process. Learn more on the Campus Safety website.
Introducing Clutch Cash
Next, we are pleased to introduce our new Lehigh Pass payment option - Clutch Cash - managed directly in your Transact eAccount.
- Clutch Cash is like having a debit card on your Lehigh Pass. These funds stay in your account until you spend them. Here’s the link to add funds to Clutch Cash.
- Clutch Cash is a convenient way to pay for on-campus necessities including Lehigh Store purchases, on-campus dining, and the Clutch and Go Amazon Just Walk Out Store.
- Once you add your Lehigh Pass to your Grubhub+ account, you will also be able to use Clutch Cash to pay for orders from any business on the Grubhub platform, including many of our great South Bethlehem restaurants. (Free membership to Grubhub+ is available to all students, faculty and staff!)
A Few Important Clutch Cash Facts
If you already have your Lehigh Pass (ID card) linked as a payment form in Grubhub, you will need to remove it and re-add it to get started using Clutch Cash to pay for orders.
Dining Dollars are part of Lehigh meal plans and are different from Clutch Cash.
Clutch Cash takes the place of GoldPLUS as Lehigh’s reloadable payment system for use on and off campus.
