If having exercise classes conveniently available on campus throughout the year isn’t enough of an incentive, the Taylor Gym team is offering an additional enticement to staff and faculty this semester.

The center’s popular semester-long sessions of twice-weekly circuit training and unlimited group exercise classes typically cost $120 each, for a total of $240 per semester.  Because we know many employees like to do circuit training and also enjoy the variety of group classes, the center is offering a special $20 discount to faculty and staff who purchase both for the spring semester.

Don’t delay. To take advantage of the discount, you need to register for both sessions by the first day of the semester – January 22. Use the code BOTH20 at checkout. To register and pay online go to go.lehigh.edu/fitness.

Have you signed up for Be Well? If so, you may be eligible for 50 percent reimbursement per semester (up to $100 cap per semester) on Taylor Gym classes and personal training. Here’s what you need to do to reach eligibility:

  1. Complete the annual online health questionnaire
  2. Complete Health Scan Plus (or bloodwork completed off-site at a lab or your doctor)
  3. Complete of the Roadmap to Success on their BE WELL portal
  4. Join your first BE WELL challenge each cycle

Once you’ve met these requirements, you will get a check back for half of the amount of your fitness center purchase up (up to $100 per semester reimbursement). For example, if you purchase group exercise classes this spring for $120 and you’ve met the Be Well requirements, you will receive a check for $60 back. That leaves another $40 available for reimbursement, which can be applied to the fees paid for circuit training, personal training services, or even summer group fitness classes (paid by May 31).

If you put these two great offers together, you’ll save a total of $120 this semester. That means that once you receive your reimbursement, you would only be paying $100 for group fitness and circuit training classes for the whole spring semester.
