Our wellness program, BE WELL, runs on annual basis, starting in mid-October. Because the program’s provider, Aduro, needs a couple of weeks to close out the year and prepare for the new one, the current BE WELL year will end September 26, 2018.
The good news is you still have time to reach that next level of the program you've been aiming for.
- Be sure to log in and finish up any challenges you may have lingering out there.
- Find a few new challenges that can be accomplished in a short amount of time. For example, you could sign onto “Dine In, Not Out” and earn ten points for those home cooked meals. And if you planned to use next weekend to clean out and re-organize your mudroom, be sure to sign up for the “Clear The Clutter” challenge for another ten.
- Don’t forget to log your activity in any group challenges you might have. In Human Resources, a group of employees each earned 100 points by collectively reaching an impressive 3,115,428 steps! If you're on a team for the “Home Stretch” challenge, get those steps in now.
Weight Watchers Returns
Beginning Wednesday, October 9, the new and improved Weight Watchers Freestyle program will be back on campus. The group will meet weekly on Wednesdays at Noon. Fruit and vegetables will be served at each meeting. To register, contact Mary Jo McNulty at firstname.lastname@example.org or 610-758-3894. The cost for the 10 week program is $125.
Health Scan Reminder
If you have registered for Health Scan, remember that you need to fast for 10 hours prior to your test. You may have water and any required medications during that time, however. A continental breakfast is provided for participants once they have finished having their blood drawn. This year, Health Scan is taking place in the Wood Dining room of the Iacocca Conference Center, Iacocca Hall.
As always, if you have any questions about our wellness programs, contact Mary Jo McNulty.
