What is the LU Marathon?
The LU Marathon is a wellness program sponsored by Human Resources and Campus Athletics designed to encourage members of the Lehigh community to start a walking program.
What Do I Do To Join In?
All you have to do is register, then run or walk 26.2 miles in a two-week period from May 5 through May 18, 2013. While this may be broken up into a morning walk and an afternoon walk, for maximum aerobic benefit, it is important to walk at least 20 minutes per day.
Where will the Marathon take place?
You can walk or run anywhere - on campus, at home, in a park, on a treadmill, or any other place. Wherever you choose to walk or run, it is important that you measure the distance so that you may record actual mileage.
What is the registration fee?
The registration fee is $10 per person.
How do I register?
Go to the Lehigh HR Training Tool to register. Once you’ve signed up, a complete registration packet will be sent to you.

The Wellness Committee met recently to hear about upcoming events and to hear a presentation from Director for Human Resource Services Toni Lee Febbo about Human Resources’ work to develop a comprehensive three year health and wellness strategy. More information about those efforts can be found here.
Lehigh’s Biennial Benefits and Wellness Fair returns to Lamberton Hall on Thursday, May 23, 2014, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to meet representatives from the university’s health and financial services providers, voluntary benefits vendors, dining services, and many others who will be on hand. More details will be coming soon, but for now, mark your calendars and plan to be there.
