While thousands of students clear out of South Bethlehem in late May, Lehigh’s campuses are far from dormant. Here are just a few of the activities we spotted.
Staff and faculty enjoyed the weekly farmer's market at Campus Square.
The Residential Services Surplus Furniture Sale
combined bargains and sustainability.
Justin LaFleur, Athletics, spent part of his summer covering the NBA Draft and CJ McCollum's selection by the Portland Trailblazers. CJ recently visited campus and Justin interviewed him for an upcoming Lehigh Sports video.
Architecture student Thomas McMurtrie put the finishing touches on his fifth year project (a message board) before heading to Cambridge to attend Harvard in the fall where he'll work toward a master's degree in the field.
Staff, faculty, students and visitors gathered at Common Grounds to savor lunch from the grill, the music of Billy Bauer and magic tricks from Joe Keppel. Others grabbed a quick bite from the Fud Truk.
Perhaps no other area of the university is as busy during the summer as Facilities Services. Over a dozen projects were underway, including facade restoration at Packer Chapel and waterproofing the outdoor patio at the Hawk's Nest.
