Effective immediately, Lehigh has added the RSV vaccine to the list of vaccinations covered at participating in-network pharmacies under our Express Scripts insurance plan.
To obtain the RSV vaccine, you will need a prescription from your healthcare provider to bring with you to the pharmacy. Remember to bring your Express Scripts card with you to access your coverage. The Express Scripts app is a great way to always have your card on hand. To download the app visit the Express Scripts website.
*Reminder: some pharmacies have on-site clinics that offer vaccinations; be sure to obtain your vaccine(s) directly from the pharmacy itself, not the on-site clinic.
Major in-network pharmacies include CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens. The pharmacies at Giant, Weis and Wegmans are also in-network.
The addition of the RSV vaccine to the pharmacy benefit plan brings the number of vaccines that you and your dependents can receive at participating in-network pharmacies to four:
- Flu
- COVID
- Shingles, with a prescription from the healthcare provider
- RSV, with a prescription from the healthcare provider
Don’t forget: the above-mentioned vaccines can also be obtained from your healthcare provider if they provide the vaccinations in-office. While the vaccines themselves are covered under the medical plan benefit when administered by a healthcare provider, you may be required to pay an office visit copay. Other vaccines not listed above may be covered under Lehigh’s medical plans based upon preventive care guidelines or medical necessity.
