1: Lehigh University Awards Deadline Approaching
The Lehigh University Awards are the premier opportunity for recognition of outstanding faculty and staff achievement. The awards are presented at the annual Lehigh Appreciation Dinner in spring.
The 2015-2016 nomination period for faculty and staff will end on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 5:00 pm. Nominations entered after this date will be considered in 2016 for the 2016-2017 awards.
Are there colleagues across campus who have made an impact, impressed you with their innovation, gone out of their way to lend a hand, or who you consider a superstar. This is your opportunity to give back, and acknowledge faculty and staff for their talent, creativity, and dedication. It only takes a few minutes to complete the new streamlined nomination ballot, and provide a brief statement explaining why your nominee should win an award.
2: New Single Sign On For Hire Touch
If you use HireTouch as part of a position search, you will see a new way of signing into the program has been implemented recently. Hire Touch has been added to the list of resources accessible through the Lehigh Connect Single Sign On system.
To get into HireTouch, simply go to Inside Lehigh, log into Lehigh Connect and choose the Employee menu in the box on the right side of the screen. You’ll see HireTouch as an option there.

3: It’s Not Too Late: Maximize the Match Today
The new year is here, which means the Lehigh University Retirement Plan matching incentive has increased. This year, Lehigh will match 50% of up to 5% of your voluntary retirement savings in the Lehigh plan. That means if you save 5%, Lehigh will put in an extra 2.5%.
If you didn’t get a chance to increase your voluntary contribution to your retirement account before the holidays, don’t fret. You can do it at any point during the year. Of course, the sooner you do it, the more you’ll save. Go to TIAA-CREF’s Lehigh microsite and maximize your match today.
