During two fall events, Lehigh's newest staff members learned about the university's operations and got a taste for its traditions.
New Employee Orientation returned to an in-person event this fall for the first time since 2019. Staff members from all areas of the university gathered in the Tower Room of Iaccoca Hall to hear from a variety of campus leaders. They learned about Lehigh's organizational structure, received an overview of the strategic plan, "Inspiring the Future Makers," and found out about all of the many resources available to them as employees. To cap off the event, everyone hopped on a special edition of the Packer Express for an exclusive tour of campus.
The Lehigh New Employee Tailgate became a tradition prior to 2020 and its return was met with enthusiastic response. A soggy day didn't keep staff members and their families from enjoying a delicious cookout and a chance to meet colleagues.
