HR Earns Sustainable Silver

The Human Resources Office has earned silver certification from the Office of Sustainability’s Sustainable Office Program.  Associate Vice President Chris Halladay and HR Assistant Monica Guiher accepted the award from Sustainability Program Coordinator Katharine Targett at a recent HR staff meeting.

 

To reach silver status, the HR team completed 79 actions that are considered environmentally sustainable behaviors. With just 11 more actions needed to reach the next level, the office plans to “go for the gold” after its move to the Third and New Street building next year

 

HR is the seventeenth certified Sustainable Office on campus and 25 more are in the process of earning their status. The Sustainability Office is available to help your office through the self-guided process of certification. Contact Katharine at kat516@lehigh.edu for more information.
