As announced in the Flexible Benefits Quick Reference Guide, Lehigh’s medical plans will be expanding in 2017 to include coverage for gender confirmation surgery and services.
Staff and faculty who are interested in learning more about this new coverage can participate in one of two webinars being offered by Capital Blue Cross this month.
The webinars will give an overview of Lehigh’s medical plans, basic coverage associated with each plan including the new coverage for gender confirmation surgery and related services. There will be a Q&A period where participants can type in a question to be answered by a medical associate. The webinars can be watched from an individual’s computer whether on campus or off.
