Wellness Vendor Selection Process Update

In response to the Benefits Allocation Review, our wellness program is getting a makeover. We’re creating a more robust program with significant incentives and tools for you to take charge of your well-being and health.

As part of this effort, Lehigh will engage a vendor to manage the program and help us provide confidentiality and service for employees. Human Resources issued a request for proposals, and recently several vendors were invited to make presentations about their products and services.

Members of the Wellness Committee, the Faculty Compensation Committee, and Lehigh HR’s benefits and wellness team attended the presentations. Based on the proposals and presentations, finalists have been selected. A decision will be made in August. We will let you know the results in September Spotlight.

Monday Miles Makes A Comeback

Did you fall out of your walking routine during the brutal heat we experienced this summer? It’s time to get back in the swing of things by joining your colleagues for walks around campus. A great way to start is with Monday Miles – a one-mile loop around campus that begins at the flagpole at around noon.  We’re revving Monday Miles back up on Monday, September 9.

Before you head out for your first flagpole meet up, be sure to register so we know you’re coming. Go to the HR Registration Tool and select Monday Miles. Registered participants also get a free t-shirt.

A free t-shirt, a chance to chat with folks from around Lehigh, and exercise that will make you feel good about yourself and make your afternoon more productive? That’s a lot to get out of one small mile.
