  1. In Search Of: Successful Faculty/Staff Partnerships

As we discussed in Spotlight earlier in the spring, Dr. Susan Christy will be conducting a study of successful faculty/staff partnerships at Lehigh. The goal is to inspire and encourage more such positive working relationships.

Visit the study’s web page to read more about the study and find out how to participate.

  2. Summer Vacation: A Friendly Reminder

Many employees take vacation over the summer. In addition, some are not on campus during long periods of time because their positions are not year-round.

If you’ll be away this summer, as a courtesy to your colleagues and those you work with outside the university, please remember to set your Out of the Office message on both your email and your voice mail. Let people know when you will be back, and who they should contact if their request needs immediate attention.

Enjoy your vacation with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that co-workers and others aren’t wondering why you haven’t gotten back to them!

  3. Work/Life Facebook: Join Hundreds Of Your Colleagues

Hundreds of Lehigh staff and faculty have clicked the LIKE button at Work/Life Lehigh on Facebook. If you aren’t one of them, you’ve already missed live coverage of the Lehigh Appreciation Dinner and Commencement.

This Facebook page shares information about benefits, events, learning opportunities, and many of the fun and intriguing things that go on around our campus. Once you LIKE the page, you’ll usually get one or two updates per day during the week, with more postings during special events.
