New Retirement Planning Sessions Announced

Human Resources often partners with TIAA to provide retirement planning education to staff and faculty, including workshops, webinars, and one-on-one counseling. In our recent survey, you told us that you want even more. We listened!

Two new programs coming this spring will help you put your money to work and envision your future.

 

Money at Work 1: Foundations of Investing

Tuesday April 12
8:30 to 10:00 a.m.

 

This program is great for people looking to better understand the tradeoffs of investing and get more comfortable taking a more active role in saving and managing their retirement account.

 

This session will cover:

  • Managing risk versus reward
  • Understanding the role of investing and managing investment risks
  • Augmenting programs to help accelerate your savings
  • Products and tools to help you sustain your portfolio

 

Tomorrow in Focus: Saving for Your Ideal Retirement

Tuesday April 19
3:00 to 4:30 p.m.

 

When you look into the future, what do you see? No matter what stage of life you are at, it is never too soon or too late to create a solid vision of your retirement so you can take the steps you need to get there.

This session will cover:

  • Retirement saving and planning
  • The real benefit of time when saving
  • The essential features of retirement investments
